The Nest left me with a great impression right out of the slightly dented box (something I blame on the delivery company). I've seen increased lag and buffering times since installing the camera, so heavy-duty internet users will need to prioritize their bandwidth use within their router or improve their upload speeds. While the average user won't experience any difficult streaming from the Nest, I'm an avid gamer and Netflix user. Here are a few of its tech specs:Ī note on the upload speed requirement: I have the basic package from my internet service provider. ![]() T-Pain is really like a fucking genius compared to Future. I don’t think I realized how much he did until Future blew up. T-Pain is a really under appreciated artist. “Man, it must suck to be you niggas / Cause it don’t suck to be this rich / If you not fuckin’ with me, brethren / You can suck upon this dick.” That’s how you sound angry without bein’ bitter. I guess I’m part of that whole group… “OG Muggs said I’m gonna be the first rapper to cross over to black folk.” His first verse was dope. He’s basically talkin’ about how black people are finally starting to accept his music and style. He just sounds… BADASS! This beat is dope af and his flow is great. ![]() This little intro where Tech is singing is actually dope af. The hook is really just fucking horrible. That intro with the kids doin’ the pledge was kinda corny to me too. This would honestly be dope af without the hook. I mean, it’s not… well, actually it is really bad. This hook is just fucking horrible to me. His voice just sounds so… bad and the way he’s singing is just so… bad. I do not like the way he sounds on this at all. I don’t know how Serj is gonna sound on this. I used to like System Of A Down when I was going through this really weird phase, but I really don’t like the crossover songs that Tech does with Rock music. Why are his skits always so weird? I like this one, but seriously. Towards the end it changes to a fire alarm at a school going off, then a class starts and the teacher’s like, “rise for the morning pledge.” This is weird as hell. I feel like I’m listening to a scene from weird movie. For some reason I really really like this skit. The background music makes it sound really suspenseful. ![]() This is weird ass skit… Mark Alford is just talkin’ about how a meteorite landed in Kansas City… It’s kinda creepy. I don’t really remember exactly what I thought of it, but I do know that Tech N9ne became one of my favorite rappers after I heard this album, so I’m expecting this to be pretty dope. It was the first full Tech N9ne album I ever listened to. This is the first review that I’ve ever done for an album that I’ve already heard. I didn’t expect to be doin’ this, but I decided that I would after reviewing Special Effects. For future marathons I’ll be reviewing them in order of release. For those of you who don’t know what that means, I’ll be reviewing every album Tech N9ne has released. I guess I should go ahead and make this official. But they all share one common feature a massive selection of mods. Slower, unforgiving, and more compact, the naval warfare battler places greater emphasis on tactical command of the battlefield than rollicking salvo action. If camo paid for in gold is only temporary, well, that is the height of dishonest. Published: World of Warships World of Warships differs in many ways from its tank and warplane brethren. World of Warships provides players with a wide range of combat options, including sudden strikes, cunning flanking attacks, and open head-to-head encounters. ![]() ![]() ![]() You quantified the cost of building a warmaiden, but that is the first half. Great analysis on WM, but you missed the other half of the cost comparison. TL DRĪleksandr might save you resources by allowing you to skip farming Stage 9 over Stage 12. So the total Silver that you lose by farming Warmaidens over farming 12-3 is 1.1 mil (best case) and 3.1 mil (worst case). This means the overall average loss in silver from 9-4 to 12-3 is 3,324 Silver. In fact, taking into account the gear that drops 72% of the time, the average sell cost for a piece of gear per run is 4,228 silver for Stage 9-4 and 6,252 silver for Stage 12-3. Destroy Gear also sells for about 21% less silver for an identical rank, rarity and slot piece than Curing Gear which drops in Stage 12-3. As brews are 18,750 XP, this is equivalent to 45 brews (best case) and 127 (worst case) assuming no bonuses from elsewhere (Raid card, Clan level) as those make the opportunity cost even higher. So the total XP that you lose by farming Warmaidens over farming 12-3 is 847,740 XP (best case) and 2,373,672 XP (worst case). Now assuming you have a max level farmer, you lose 25% of that to your farmer, so we can call that 2,556 XP per run. Therefore, for each run of Brutal 9-4 over Brutal 12-3, you are losing 1,704 XP or 3,408 XP with the XP boost. Stage 12-6 as we know drops more XP but less silver due to the gear (more on that later). Stage 12-3 on the other hand drops 17,304 XP and 10,550 base Silver. Well Stage 9-4, the most efficient Warmaiden stage drops 15,600 XP and 9,250 base Silver. How much Silver and XP would you lose out on for Warmaiden because you're in Stage 9 instead of Stage 12? Furthermore you could be running Stage 6 for Common and Uncommon Speed gear which is far more useful for an early game account that would normally be after a Warmaiden than the Destroy gear that drops in Stage 9. However, for the same 8 energy you could be farming in Stage 12-3 or 12-6 for more energy and silver so every time you farm Stage 9-4 for Warmaiden you are actually losing XP and Silver in opportunity cost. BUT I AM FARMING XP AND SILVER WHEN I FARM FOR WARMAIDEN!!!!! I leave it to the individual player to decide whether using Aleksandr instead of Warmaiden is worth that energy. So the average number of energy you need to spend at 8 energy a run is 2,653 energy (best case) and 7,430 energy (worst case). Therefore the runs that you need to get the first Warmaiden and enough dupes to get a 100% AOE Def Down on a 3 turn CD is 1 / (1.5%) x (1 + 4) ≈ 332 runs (best case) and 1 / (1.5%) x (1 + 13) ≈ 929 runs (worst case). So the average number of runs it takes to get 1 Warmaiden to drop is 1 / (1.5%) ≈ 66 runs. In Brutal Campaign, she usually drops with 1% chance but those of us who know the data mine (like me) know that there's a typo in Brutal Stage 9-4 and Warmaiden drops with 1.5% chance there. Now Warmaidens are farmed in Stage 9 Deadlands of Campaign. For Warmaiden, it's 4 dupe Warmaidens (best case) and 13 dupe Warmaidens (worst case). For Aleksandr, it's 5 Legendary books (best case) and 12 Legendary books (worst case). This depends on whether you get perfect book luck (best case) or the worst case book luck. How Many Warmaidensįirstly, we should consider best and worst case scenarios to get a 3 turn 100% AOE Def Down. I'm not making an opinion post about Aleksandr, I'm just stating Raid maths facts. However, Warmaiden is not free from an opportunity cost perspective in terms of early game energy and food farming and here's the facts. but so's Aleksandr and you do get Legendary books for free too. "is she really free?" From a monetary perspective, yes, you get her without having to spend money in Raid. Has a 75% chance of placing a 60% debuff for 2 turns.I have seen a lot of comments about how S1mple / Aleksandr is a bad champion because you can farm a Warmaiden for free who does the exact same AOE Def Down 100% on a 3 turn CD. The extra hit cannot be critical.Ībility 3: Crumbling Blast - Cooldown 4 Turns Places a 50% buff on this Champion and places an extra hit if this attack is critical. Has a 30% chance of placing a 25% debuff for 1 turn.Ībility 2: Opportunity Strike - Coolpown 3 Turns She's also a somewhat rare drop as a reward when fighting in the Deadlands. Warmaiden is also pretty useful on her own as an attack champion. Warmaiden is a Rare Champion that is required in the fusion for Justiciar who in turn is part of the fusion for Relickeeper. ![]() Who here wouldn’t be able to recognise those instant gratification tunes of entering the overworld after a long day at work or school? Yes, Minecraft… Brought to us by Mojang Studios. And that game is… Drumroll please… Minecraft. They already have quite a bit of work with the original Minecraft and Minecraft Dungeons, so they hired Blackbird Interactive to develop Minecraft Legends.I think that for a lot (if not most) of us gamers out there, there’s one game in particular that in some way or form has been etched into our hearts forever. ![]() Mojang announced they wouldn’t be developing Minecraft Legends themselves. At the very least, we should see cross-platform support for PC and Xbox devices. Minecraft Dungeons received full cross-platform support for multiplayer, so we might get it with Legends as well. The co-op mode could feature the popular drop-in, and drop-out mechanics that let players contribute to campaigns. However, based on how Mojang has handled them in the past, we can assume that competitive multiplayer will look a lot like Age of Empires – players put together an army and resources and then challenge their opponents to a match. The details of what these multiplayer modes will look like are still unclear, as there hasn’t been much talk about them. There will be both co-op and competitive versions, which greatly enrich the game. Mojang confirmed that Minecraft Legends would have a multiplayer mode. ![]() Players will explore vast biomes to find all the resources they need to build strong defenses for their settlements. Of course, Minecraft Legends will still retain the collect-and-build component that popularized the original Minecraft game. There won’t be as much focus on individual improvements like armors. They’ll also have different Piglin units, such as the announced “pigmadillos” that can curl up into a wrecking ball or “bruisers” with huge razor blades.Īccording to Magnus Nedfors, Mojang’s creative director, the main point of the game will be gathering your troops and partnering up to defeat Piglins. According to Mojang, Piglins will be split into different hordes, each having a unique set of abilities you’ll have to fight against. On the other hand, Plank Golems spit out projectiles, making them suitable for your ranged unit.Īs you can imagine, the enemy will have a few tricks up their sleeve as well. The creators highlight Cobblestone Golems as especially effective at destroying various enemy structures. There are also small golems, coming in ranged and melee varieties. First, there are new mobs, like armored skeletons and zombie farmers. The mechanics are similar to those of Minecraft Dungeon, though there are many differences and improvements. Then, there’s a closer, third-person view allowing them to focus on the battle. The point of view switches as needed, and players can use the pulled-back view to organize their troops. We can also see the hero’s mobs following them as they wave the blue flag calling their troops to arms and getting them into position. First, the trailer shows the hero riding a horse, which fits into what Mojang said about the game: players will spend most of their time on their horse as they prepare for various battles. The nitty-gritty of how exactly you’ll fight Piglins is unclear, except for a few details. Otherwise, Piglins will spread their corruption over your settlements. The core idea of Minecraft Legends is simple – enraged Piglins are taking over the Overworld, and you must lead your troops to a hard battle against them. ![]() # Any values returned by platform.system() are valid. # This is useful when debugging issues or if you know a method # for a different platform works on the current platform. Another great option that fits these requirements is the well-known and battle-hardened psutil package by Giampaolo Rodola. However, unfortunately it is no longer maintained as of May 2021, so it may not be a great choice for new projects. If you only need the addresses of network interfaces, have a limited set of platforms to support, and are able to handle C-extension modules, then you should instead check out the excellent netifaces package by Alastair Houghton ( It's significantly faster (thanks to it being C-code) and has been around a long time and seen widespread usage. It provides one function: get_mac_address() ![]()
